My Content Tools: Creator Studio Management Software for Mac & Windows
One place to run the business side of a creator studio: your shoots, your performers and their releases, your custom orders, your revenue and your monthly numbers. A desktop app for your Mac or Windows PC, plus a phone app for the paperwork on set.

What My Content Tools is
My Content Tools is creator studio management software. It replaces the pile of spreadsheets, calendar entries, folders of PDFs and sticky notes that most independent studios run on with one app that knows how your shoots, performers, orders and money fit together.
It is made of two apps that share one account. My Content Tools is the desktop app for Mac and Windows, where you plan, track and report. Model Release Pro is the phone app, where signed releases and IDs are captured on set. Press Sync in the desktop app and what you captured on your phone appears next to the right shoot and performer.
Your records are stored on your own computer. If you use Model Release Pro, what you capture on your phone is sent through our cloud service so it can be delivered to your computer when you press Sync.
Who it is for
Independent creators who sell their own content and small studios that run shoots with performers and need to keep track of who was booked, what was signed, what was ordered and what was paid.
If you only post content and never book anyone else, the solo creators page covers which parts matter most. If you run a studio or hire performers, see My Content Tools for studios. Creators who sell on subscription and clip platforms use it alongside those platforms, not instead of them; it is independent software with no partnership with any platform.
Platforms
- My Content Tools (desktop): macOS and Windows. It installs on your computer, not your phone. The current version is shown on the download page.
- Model Release Pro (phone): live on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone.
Pricing
One subscription covers both apps: $19.95 per month, plus applicable tax. You start with a 30-day free trial at sign-up, and no card is required to start it.
How it works
- Create your account and install My Content Tools on your Mac or Windows PC.
- Install Model Release Pro on your phone and sign in with the same email and password.
- Plan your shoots on the calendar. Import from Google Calendar (paste your calendar's private iCal link and press Save & Sync, then review the events found), or add shoots by hand.
- On set, capture the performer's ID and signed release in Model Release Pro.
- Back at your desk, press Sync in My Content Tools. Releases and performer details arrive and are matched to the shoot.
- Track orders, import revenue, log expenses and performer payments, and read your monthly P&L report.
