Account Deletion

How to delete your account, what is removed, and what the law requires us to keep.

Effective Date: August 24, 2026

How to delete your account

In the app. Open Model Release Pro, go to Settings → Security & Encryption → Delete Account, read the notice shown there, enter your password to confirm, and your account is deleted immediately.

Without the app. If you cannot reach the app, email support@mycontenttools.com from the address on the account with the subject Account Deletion Request. We will verify that you control the address and complete the deletion for you. No phone call and no retention offer — it is a request we action, not one we negotiate.

What is deleted, and what is retained

Deleted: your login credentials, your active session, and your profile details. You will no longer be able to sign in.

Retained: your shoots, model records, identity documents, executed release forms, the § 2257 records generated from them, and the audit log.

Account deletion will remove your login credentials and active session data. However, pursuant to federal record-keeping requirements (18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75), all previously generated compliance records, identity documents, and executed release forms must be retained and cannot be destroyed. By proceeding, you acknowledge that your historical compliance archive will remain preserved.

Why we cannot delete those records. Model Release Pro exists to keep the records that 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 require a producer of adult content to maintain. Destroying them on request would put the producer in breach of federal law. Deleting your account therefore ends your access to the service; it does not, and legally cannot, destroy the compliance archive created while you used it.

If you are a performer, not a studio

Performers sometimes ask us to delete the identity documents or release forms held about them. We are not able to do that, and neither is the studio:

We are unable to fulfill requests to delete identity verification or release records, as the Producer is mandated by federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2257) to retain this documentation.

These records belong to the producer for compliance purposes and are held to satisfy a federal obligation. This applies regardless of the deletion rights you may otherwise have under privacy laws such as the CCPA or the GDPR, which do not override a statutory retention requirement. If you have a question about a record held about you, contact the studio you worked with, or write to us at support@mycontenttools.com and we will direct it.

Deleting an account is not the same as cancelling

If you only want to stop being billed, see the Subscription Cancellation Policy — you can cancel yourself, online, and keep your account and your records.
